There
will be three committees established, each of
them have one chairman and committee members.
The committee will include a finance, general
affairs and administration representative. Their
duties are as follows:
(A)
Medical Consultation Committee
1.
A volunteer group consisting of retired and experienced
health care
professionals, to establish a consulting
hot line for breast cancer
prevention and information.
2. Fund a computerized patient’s information
data base.
3. Provide related information for breast
cancer care.
4. Organize seminars for breast cancer prevention
and facilitate the
academic learning at home and abroad
(B)
Planning and developing Committee
1. Organized various prevention activities,
such as editions in journals for
breast cancer prevention and related
public speaking events, etc.
2. Work with government agencies or other
media organizations through
charity events, such as music concerts,
book auctions, food fairs and
breast cancer screening programs.
3. Connect to news media (newspapers, broadcast
stations or TV channels)
for related infomercial activities.
4. Hold regular meetings with the public
and patients to exchange opinions
or invite experts to give lectures.
(C)
Advocate Committee
1.
Promote the prevention concept through aggressive
fund raising, in order
to expand the medical services.
2. Produce video tapes about the foundation
and its goal.
3. Recognize and reward people for significant
breast cancer prevention
activities.
4. Coordinate with other foundations for
patient education programs.
